If I was shirley I would not be happy. because i would not want to move from China to america.I would miss all my friends and cousins I would miss all the special events and holidays. I would miss a lot of the stores and games that I would play
If I was Shirley in the story"The year of the boar and Jackie Robinson"I would feel shy about moving from China to America.I would also feel excited because Shirley's family was mean to her so it would be nice to have freedom for once.I think Shirley would be happy too because she finally gets to see her father in America.
If I was Shirley Temple Wong and just moved to America from China, I would be angry and shy. Angry because I would miss my family from back home. I would be shy because i wouldn't know anybody there like my teachers and neighbors. That's how I would feel.
How I would feel if was Shirley temple Wong moving from China to America. I would feel shy and think of what things I would have to learn and will probably be a lot of work. I would also feel nervous because I'm meeting new people that I don't know but eventually will get use to it. Thats how I would feel if I was Shirley moving from China to America.
I think Shirley felt nervous by moving from China to U.S.A. She gets used to it. then decides to play baseball as a miner on the Dodgers and soon her teammates called her Jackie Robinson and she became a good baseball player.She later gets to meet Jackie Robinson himself. Then has a star spangled Christmas.
How I would feel if I were Shirley Temple Wong. If I were Shirley moving from China to America I would feel really bad because I would miss all my family members.My mom actually moved from moved from Ireland to America.I would also miss house that I lived in and my friends and I think that everyone would make fun of me because I would not know english.

in the book in the year of the boar it is a great and awsome book to read in ms jasper class
This is an enjoyable book. Shirley's adventure was true to life and fun.
